CONDITIONS OF BOOKING (please read)
1. The Booking fee is firm and is not subject to any variation except in the event of a change in the client’s requirements. In this case a revised fee may be determined by negotiation between the client and Elite Weddings & Functions.
2. Elite Weddings & Functions requires full payment to be made 2 weeks prior to the function date. Booking is not confirmed until the initial deposit is paid.
3. The client may ask the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer to stay on past the original time specified from the booked completion time. In this case, a minimum of $55.00 per hour or part thereof will be charged and prepaid prior to the start of the extra hour.
4. Cancellations must be notified in writing by the client to Elite Weddings & Functions and posted in sufficient time to be received by them no less than thirty (30) days prior to the booking.
5. All deposits are non-refundable.
6. In the event of cancellation within 30 days prior to the booking Elite Weddings & Functions, reserves the right to claim the total fee if an alternative booking for the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer cannot be arranged.
7. Notification by the client to provide a non-vibrating surface for Elite Weddings & Functions, sound system is required prior to the event. Relocation of the sound system during an event, causing interruption to the music, will not qualify the client to any fee reduction.
8. It is the client’s responsibility to provide adequate protection for the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer’s equipment to prevent unauthorised interference or removal of any equipment from the time of the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer’s arrival at the venue to the completion of the engagement. The booking is not deemed to be complete until removal of the equipment within a reasonable time by the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performers.
9. The client is also responsible for monitoring behaviour of patrons in a venue.
10. In the case of the client or venue being over 200km from the Adelaide GPO, the client will be responsible to pay overnight accommodation at a Motel. If there is no Motel accommodation, a nearby Hotel will be accepted. This booking is for the Elite Weddings & Functions Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer’s plus one road crewmember.
11. Elite Weddings & Functions, undertakes to provide an artist from within Elite Weddings & Functions (ABN 82 652 339 801). In the event of illness, accident or unforeseen circumstances, which renders the performer unable to work, Elite Weddings & Functions, reserves the right to provide a substitute the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer.
12. If the Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or any Performers falls ill during a booking, the full fee is still payable. The client will take no litigation if a subsequent performer cannot be found within reasonable time during the performance (i.e. within 1 hour). No fee will be payable by the client if a Disc Jockey, Entertainment Director, Technician, Artist or Performer does not arrive at the venue due to accident or illness. In this situation, the deposit and any payment will be refunded in full to the client.
13. In the event that the property being subject of a Hire Agreement, is in any way damaged or destroyed due to negligence during the duration of the Agreement, the client undertakes to pay in full, all costs of repair or replacement in any respect to that property as determined by Elite Weddings & Functions.
14. Upon receipt of a deposit and confirmation of a booking by the client, the client accepts and acknowledges having read and understood the conditions of booking.
